BEST Team Weekly Feature - February 12, 2012

It's time again for sharing the BEST Team Artisans! This week we are featuring the work of Lesley Boretto of Sydney Australia. Lesley's Etsy store, Borettoart is filled with original art, from acrylic paintings on canvas in all manner of styles to fine art prints of the originals on paper in a variety of sizes.

I love the palette brush style of this vivid original painting, can you just imagine this always fresh and cheerful bouquet of flowers in your dining room?

Borettoart paintings can be locally delivered ready to hang, and for postal deliveries, the canvas is removed from the stretcher bars and carefully rolled and packaged by the artist herself to insure perfect condition. Canvas can easily be re-stretched by a professional framer or by oneself! Follow Lesley online: Facebook | Blog | Website

Next we have Isobel Morrell of Coldhamcuddlies from Warminster, England, UK. She's been making dressed, furry toys for decades since the 1950's, at school and again in the 1970's, she made them for her two daughters. Forty years' later, she's at it again, now making toys for her daughter's friends' children.

New puppets and teddies abound in Isobel's Etsy Shoppe. This pair of March Hare hand puppets is particularly delightful, they have little cotton tails on their bottoms! Now you can also send your well loved or elderly plushies to Isobel's Soft Toy Clinic for a bit of R and R (that's Rehab and Restoration). Follow Isobel online: Facebook | Twitter | Blog | Website

Welcoming a new member, Jeanette Griebel of Bellevue, Iowa to the Team.  The  Vintage Daisy offers a little bit of everything from yummy home-made peanut butter cups to photography and original art. These pretty paper flowers caught my eye, I can just imagine the mulberry flowers floating amidst a dish of lovely potpourri as a sweet reminder of spring which is just around the corner.

About the name: Vintage items have always caught her eye and daisies are her favorite flowers. The shop's name is also a reflection of who she is as a person and as an artist! Find Jeanette online: Facebook | Blog | Pinterest

As part of my BESTeam commitment, throughout the month I will feature one or more of the fabulous shops and talented artisans who comprise the team.  What is BESTeam? It's the Boosting Etsy Shops Team and our goal is to give support to each other and to help promote each others' Etsy shops. If you are an Etsy shopowner and are interested in learning more about BESTeam, please visit the team page on Etsy.
