BEST Team Feature - Blue White Wear

Gossamer Silk drying on Planet Joy
Even though we are in the midst of preparing for our first summer Art and Wine festival in Livermore, CA on May 5, 6. We will showcase our gossamer hand painted silks in a variety of textures and weaves in summery colors, plus many new colors of our new Scarflette, that we launched on Earth Day last week! I wanted to make sure you got a glimpse of the gorgeous designer jewelry from:
Jewelry with an Oriental Flair on Etsy
Blue White Wear creates jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, earrings) with an oriental touch! A modern version of East meets West. Most of the jewelry pieces are one of a kind. CC is an American (born & raised in upstate NY) expat who has lived in Bangkok, Thailand for 9 years. She says "I am crazy about the Chinese blue and white beads and have loved creating necklaces and bracelets mixing them with other materials. After many years in Asia, my husband and I moved to Santiago, Chile. in July 2010 - It's our first time in South America, and we are loving this new adventure!"
Chinese Ming Pendant
The Chinese porcelain beads are reminiscent of the antique dynasty porcelains which are famous throughout the world. The beads have been hand painted with Chinese characters representing longevity, happiness, wealth, love, and good fortune.

Solar Power Yellow Beaded Necklace
Along with the classic blue and white designs, CC is on trend with Pantone's newest spring color, Solar Power yellow. This cheerful necklace will brighten your wardrobe and bring a little sunshine to your day! Small and medium dyed jade beads create this asymmetrical necklace with the silver toned metal flower pendant as a focal point.

  1. I'm a great fan of CC's blue and white wear, but that yellowey-orange necklace is definitely eye-catching. Thanks for pointing it out!

Good luck with your California jaunt!

That is a very cheerful and fashion forward necklace, I painted some similarly vivid silks this week for the Rotary Wine Festival in Livermore, California this week!

  4. Her creations are great, I especially love the blue and white. I find a lot of this along our shores in Hilo, people say they are from the Tsunami in the 60's still coming up in pieces...
