BEST Team Feature: Connie Tescar of Fashion Wire on Etsy

We took a fabulous trip to the Bay Area last weekend for the Livermore Rotary Wine Festival in Historic Downtown Livermore. We met up with some colorful characters and made some new friends and clients! The warm sunny weather was a welcome change from the blustery Oregon spring weather, and we had a great time! Many thanks to my hosts Brandi & Steve Collins of Villain Accessories for their support in setting up our Summer Art & Wine Festival Series!

This week we are featuring BEST Team member, Connie Tescar, she creates absolutely gorgeous wire wrapped jewelry, which is available for sale in her Etsy shop, Fashion Wire.

Connie's wire wrapped jewelry designs are both delicate and memorable at the same time. Take for example this ornate handcrafted heart shaped pendant, it's just a little bit bigger than a quarter, but the visual impact is great! It is made of oxidized sterling silver wire, hand polished to a beautiful shine.

All Connie's pendants come with a gift box, signed and dated craft card as well as special care instructions. This pendant does not come with a chain, however, you can find and purchase from a great selection of matching chains in the Chains and Cords Section of her Etsy Shop.
Wire Wrap Lesson: Cradle Weave Pendant
In addition to the gorgeous jewelry designs, you can also find lessons and tutorials for making your own wire wrapped rings, pendants and earrings in the Tutorial Section of her shop. This tutorial for creating a cradle wrapped pendant explains the method and provides a materials list for the project!

  1. What gorgeous and intricate work! It makes my hands hurt to think about the hours she must put into getting everything just so. :)

    1. Those with wire skills enthrall me, I still struggle with the most simple wire-wrapping projects!

  2. Welcome Connie - and what a post, Joy! Those ear rings are lovely - and the way the wire is wrapped makes them look really little insects! With my fingers couldn't even contemplate such intricate work - doesn't stop me appreciating it though!
