And the WINNER IS. . . .

Drum roll please. . . and the winner of the Joy Hand Painted Silk Daisy Chain Hand Painted Silk crepe scarf is Donna Marie Larocco Saputo!
Gifted to Wendy Williams on The Wendy Williams Show
Diana is a self taught artistic jewelry designer and the creator of LunaEssence, a line of luxurious jewellery and handbags stitches from reclaimed fabrics. The winning scarf is one of a limited edition hand painted art-to-wear crepe silk scarves that we produced to be given away on a recent segment of The Wendy Williams show! The show aired the day before the Academy Awards on February 23. Diana is in good company with her prize, because Wendy, the show's producer and three lucky guests of the show also received one of the seven produced in this limited edition!

Did watch the 85th Academy Awards? All the stars, and the directors and producers of the years greatest films gather together to celebrate their successes. As always there were lots of jokes, song and dance performances, and cameo appearances by the "Who's Who" in Hollywood film industry! I love to watch the red carpet, see who's wearing what, gawk at the bling and see how the other half lives from the comfort of my living room with a bowl of popcorn!

My personal favorites were: Jennifer Garner looked stunning in a raspberry Gucci gown Joseph Gordon-Levitt looked very debonaire in a Gucci tux.
Kristin Stewart, I thought she looked gorgeous (even on crutches) in a full length ivory lace and tulle gown by Reem Acra

I love Jenn Aniston's girl next door ease and style, and she looked fantabulous in a strapless red gown by Valentino.

George Clooney in Giorgio Armani Privé & Stacey Keibler in a form fitting Naeem Khan looked smashing together,  and the Odd Couple Award went to Charlize Theron & Dustin Hoffman, she was stunning in a structured beaded white peplum and full length skirt with a train by Dior Couture
I thought Adele stole the show with her performance of Skyfall as well as on the red carpet, her sweet and humble acceptance speech showed us her true colors!

Jennifer Lawrence tripped up the stairs but regained her composure quickly for her acceptance speech in Dior Haute Couture

Queen Latifah looked fresh and fabulous in a white Badgley Mischka Couture gown.

I could go on and on, I loved Naomi Watts in Giorgio Armani Privé, and what's better than Liev Schrieber except Liev Schrieber in a tuxedo. . .

Amy Adams in an amazing dove grey torn tulle gown by Oscar de la Renta was off the charts, very fairy tale princess.

Who was your favorite? And did you agree with the Academy on the winners?

  1. congratulations Donna Marie! What a beautiful prize!

  2. Congratulations to the winner of this gorgeous scarf!
